Albert Einstein said "The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything".

In retail as with most businesses that sell things there is a sales team. Whether in house or outsourced, the need for manufacturers and brands to showcase and sell their products to retailers plays an import role in a companies success.

When choosing an outside sales group to represent your products there are many factors to consider. Will the needs of my business be properly represented and will the sales team cultivate long term relationships with my customers? Will the sales team handle disputes and make my life easier? Will they be representative of my company's values and morals? Will my association with them be positive in the long term?

Kittredge & Associates according to their website represent the top brands in the athletic, outdoor and footwear industry. They also represent the Dallas Cowboys.

My sales rep Bill Chase worked for Kittredge & Associates when the Dallas Cowboys tried to destroy my business and family.

I have been in retail for 40 years, in sports licensing for 29 years. I have had stores, sold online and sold on Amazon.

The NFL and MLB knew I was on Amazon since 2016. Most people would agree Amazon is a legitimate sales channel that many consumers enjoy.

The Dallas Cowboys thru their licensing manager Amon Simmons absolutely knew I was selling on Amazon as of Oct. 13, 2017. The Cowboys and Kittredge Associates were happy to continue selling me over $200,000 in merchandise over the next year even though the Cowboys knew I was on Amazon.

Then one day, the Dallas Cowboys decided all Amazon sellers had to go. Instead of just closing my account and taking back merchandise or letting me sell it out and square up they chose a different patch.

Even though I bought my Dallas Cowboys jerseys direct from the Cowboys thru my salesman at Kittredge Associates, the Cowboys were so hellbent on destroying Amazon sellers that they filed counterfeit complaints against me on Sept. 4th, 2018.

This was after I spoke to Amon Simmons the licensing manager of the Cowboys on Aug. 22, 2018. He told me they couldn't sell to me unless I stopped selling on Amazon. I asked why they shipped me $10,000's in jerseys all summer long? I asked for an exemption from upper management. The conversation ended with no guidance or resolution. I wasn't sure if they wanted their jerseys back or what was going on.

After the first wave of counterfeit complaints on Sept 4th, 2018, the Cowboys in mid September shipped me another $30,000 in jerseys of which Kittredge got their commission. I didn't know what to do except keep selling merchandise. I had invoices and bills to pay. The Cowboys or Kittredge offered no guidance or help. I just couldn't understand the nightmare they created or why?

Then on Oct 5th, 2018 the Cowboys again flooded Amazon with counterfeit complaints. I was so distraught. Then on Oct. 19, 2018 when I couldn't provide a retraction of the lies, Amazon suspended me.

I was suspended for 25 days. I pleaded and begged the Cowboys to retract. I had to retain legal counsel to represent me to Amazon. After running an honest business for 30 years, all of a sudden the Cowboys were out to destroy me. I supported the NFL and Cowboys for 30 years why are the doing this to me? Is it because they can? Was it to make an example out of me to other Amazon Sellers? I still don't know why?

Even after I stopped selling Cowboys on Amazon, its been 18 months and Im still tripping over their jerseys in my shop. I still have a dark cloud over my head with Amazon and my business is about over going forward.

Where was Kittredge in all this? Why didn't they protect their customer? Why didn't they get the Cowboys to back off? My account was closed. They all profited from my sales, they made money. Why did they stand by and watch me get destroyed. Especially since Amon Simmons from the Cowboys knew I was on Amazon since Oct. 13, 2017. All Kittredge needed to do was pick up the phone and resolve the situation. They did nothing.

Brands- if you must do business with Kittredge please learn from my situation. They stood by and did nothing as my family was being destroyed. In the long run companies that do not resolve these types of situations can be hazardous to your brand and long term success of your business. Please proceed with caution.

Consumers-If you do not like this kind of behavior please Boycott brands represented by Kittredge. Dallas Cowboys, Reebok, Oofos, and Chinook.

Retailers- If you buy brands represented by Kittredge & Associates talk to your brands directly. Ask them about a B2B platform. Try to negotiate a 2-3% discount by not going thru a sales group and purchasing direct.

Everything is true and verifiable. I'm working on posting all emails and documentation.

I supported the Dallas Cowboys and NFL for 30 years as a retailer and a fan. I was a direct Dallas Cowboys wholesale account for 14 years. I was a good account and always paid my invoices. I have owned stores, sold online since 1998 and on Amazon for the past 5 years.

The NFL and MLB knew I was selling on Amazon in 2016.

The Cowboys licensing manager Amon Simmons knew I was on Amazon since Oct. 13, 2017. Your merchandising manager Chris Benjamin knew I was on Amazon. From Oct. 2017, to Sept. 2018, the Cowboys continued to ship me over $200,000 in merchandise.

Since Amon Simmons and Chris Benjamin knew I was on Amazon, I learned the Cowboys violated their own policies and the policies of the NFL and NFLPA by knowingly selling to multiple Amazon sellers.

On Aug. 22, 2018, I spoke to Amon Simmons from the Cowboys for the first time ever. He told me to take Cowboys jerseys off Amazon or my account with the Cowboys was to be closed. I asked for an exemption, I asked to return merchandise that they have been shipping me all summer, I asked if I could sell out and pay off invoices. There was no guidance, just threats of harming my Amazon account. I could tell the Cowboys plan to eliminate Amazon sellers was not well thought out. It was amateur hour.

On Sept. 4th and Sept. 25th, and Oct. 5th the Dallas Cowboys flooded Amazon with counterfeit complaints against me even though I bought the jerseys direct from you.

On. Oct. 19th, 2018, I was suspended for 25 days from Amazon. The Cowboys caused me severe emotional, physical, and financial damage. I have not sold any Cowboys jerseys on Amazon since your tantrum in Oct. of 2018. They are sitting in boxes waiting for you to take them back. It's been 24 months. What kind of clown show is your licensing and merchandising dept. running? Also please check your account receivables. There were other Dallas Cowboys accounts selling on Amazon that were not the victims of your "forced removal tactics" as they owed too much money.

You achieved your goal. You hurt me because I disobeyed your order to remove Dallas Cowboys jerseys from Amazon. The fact that you sold me the jerseys and you profited from Amazon sales means nothing to you. The fact that your men Amon Simmons and Chris Benjamin knew I was on Amazon means nothing to you. The fact that they violated the NFL and NFLPA policies regarding selling to Amazon retailers means nothing to you. Where is your sense of pride and dignity? Why is your honesty no where to be found in this matter. Is this why the Cowboys can't win on field? Why such a lack of decency?

The world is in chaos. People are dying. We need to join together. I am openly begging the Dallas Cowboys to abandon their petty revenge tactics. Do the right thing. Anger is like a hot stone. The more you hold onto it the more you will get burned. Let go of your anger. A wave of relief might resonate thru your licensing department and maybe you will win a playoff game.

There are hardly any Dallas Cowboys retailers left online that you or Fanatics.com don't control. As we witness the downfall of the American shopping mall you finally got your wish. The Dallas Cowboys and Fanatics.com will have very limited competition. You can charge as much as you want for your imported jerseys. The Dallas Cowboys have resorted to lies and trademark bullying to get us kicked off Amazon in October of 2018. They are the most unethical liars I have ever dealt with in 40 years in business.

The only person I spoke to at the Cowboys was Amon Simmons. He knew I was on Amazon since Oct. of 2017. As licensing manager of the Cowboys he either instituted this conspiracy or stood by and watched it happen.

He could have cut off our account which was the official policy and then bought back Cowboys merchandise. Instead he allowed false complaints to be filed against us, while reaping the rewards of continuing to sell us merchandise.

I don't know this man. He seemed nice on the phone. I begged him to close our account, take back merchandise, or let me sell it out and leave me alone. Except for some unknown reason the Cowboys were hellbent on destroying all Amazon sellers.

So what is driving him to assist in destroying an American business. Is it personal or is he acting on orders from Fanatics and the NFL? Or is he simply afraid of his bosses and has to tow the line. My sales rep Bill Chase worked for Kittredge & Associates when the Dallas Cowboys tried to destroy my business and family.

Kittredge & Associates. We are in the middle of a pandemic. It is time to do the right thing and stand up for your past customer that the Dallas Cowboys tried to destroy.

I bought Dallas Cowboys jerseys from your sales rep, that you made money on, and were shipped directly from the Dallas Cowboys.

On Sept. 4th, 2018, and Oct. 5th, 2018 the Dallas Cowboys said these jerseys they shipped me were counterfeit. On Oct. 19th, 2018 I was suspended from Amazon for 25 days causing me substantial emotional and physical pain along with severe financial loss.

I know it sounds bizarre that the Cowboys did this but they were hellbent to hurt Amazon sellers. It was the most unethical, disgusting act I have ever seen perpetrated on a small American business and by "Americas Team, the Cowboys.

On Oct. 13, 2017 Amon Simmons the licensing manager of the Dallas Cowboys absolutely knew I sold on Amazon. For almost a year they continued to ship me $200,000 in jerseys. You made money on these jerseys.

As the sales group that handles Dallas Cowboys merchandise you had to know what was going on. I couldn't have been the only account this was happening to. Ask your Maryland rep. I know other Amazon sellers that might not have been closed because they owed the Cowboys too much money.

Kittredge & Associates- Why did you turn a blind eye to what the Cowboys were doing to me and maybe other sellers. You knew it was wrong. You knew they were liars. Why weren't you man enough to stand up for your customer? Were you afraid of the Cowboys? It's not the American way. In these difficult times with our fellow citizens suffering enormous hardship you have an opportunity to repent and do the right thing. Help a fellow American that you made money off of.

This is a bizarre story of destruction, lies, and deceit. I was not aware people like this existed until I was a victim. I believe the worst trait a person can have is being a liar.

Hello, we both know Kittredge & Associates is the sales agency for the Dallas Cowboys. Bill Chase was my sales rep.

I was a direct Dallas Cowboys account for 14 years.

Amons Simmons, the licensing manager of the Dallas Cowboys absolutely knew I was on Amazon since Oct. 13, 2017.

From Oct, 2017, thru Sept 2018 the Cowboys shipped me over $200,000 in merchandise that Kittredge made money on. I was your customer and things were good.

When the Cowboys decided no more Amazon sales it was a 5 minute fix. Amon Simmons and the Cowboys could have closed my account which was their official policy and either taken back merchandise or let me sell out and square up. I could tell their actions were not well thought out and not properly executed. It was quite amateurish.

Instead the Cowboys chose a path of destruction and lies. The Dallas Cowboys told Amazon that the jerseys I bought thru Kittredge, that Kittredge made money on, that the Cowboys shipped to me, were counterfeit.

I was suspended from Amazon for 25 days. I begged and pleaded with the Cowboys for a retraction. I got no response. My life was turned upside down. I was terrified that the Dallas Cowboys were trying to destroy me. I told the Cowboys their jerseys were off Amazon. I had other items to sell and to please retract your lies. I have to live. They didn't care that my family was being destroyed.

I did not know at the time but it was the Cowboys that violated their own policies and the policies of the NFL and NFLPA by knowingly selling jerseys to Amazon sellers.

I suffered emotional, physical, and great financial damage. I wanted out of sports. It's a dead end business for everybody now that the Fanatics.com monopoly has taken hold.

Unlike selling imported, made in Vietnam and Guatemala, Dallas Cowboys polyester jerseys, I was transitioning to a new business. Baby organic cotton clothing, made in the USA with my nature designs. However, the risk going forward was too high with the false counterfeit complaints on my Amazon account.

Why did Kittredge & Associates do nothing, while your customer was being destroyed? Why didn't you step in and tell the Cowboys, "we stopped selling this account, please leave them alone". What were you afraid of? Is this how you treat all your customers or was I singled out? Was I expendable? Was the decency and reputation of Kittredge & Associates put at risk to appease the Dallas Cowboys?

In this day of Covid-19 horrors, watching our loved ones get sick or worse, watching our country isolated, why do I still have to endure baseless, lying accusations about being a counterfeiter? Why weren't the lies retracted? Why do I still have $23,000 in jerseys taking up storage space? Why can't my Amazon account be free of lies so I can pursue selling other items that might help people in these difficult times.

Hello, please help me resolve a situation that has been ongoing for 36 months. I will keep it brief. Everything is true and verifiable.

I supported the Dallas Cowboys for 30 years as a retailer and a fan. I was a direct Dallas Cowboys wholesale account for many years. I was a good account and always paid my invoices.

I have owned stores, sold online since 1998 and on Amazon for the past 5 years.

The NFL and MLB knew I was on Amazon in 2016. Amon Simmons licensing manager of the Cowboys knew I was on Amazon since Oct. 13, 2017.

In Aug. of 2018 I was told by way of a threatening policy letter that Amazon sales were not allowed and you had 24 hours to remove listings or be faced with a forced removal harming your Amazon account.

I thought it was a mistake as Amon knew I was on Amazon and the Cowboys were shipping me $10,000's of jerseys all summer long . I was gearing up for my best season ever with Cowboys gear.

I spoke to Amon Simmons on Aug. 22. He said he was going to close my account. I asked for an exemption and he said no. I asked him to ask upper management. I asked if merchandise could be returned, I asked if I could sell out the merchandise and part like gentlemen. Everything fell on deaf ears with no resolution. I could tell this new policy was not well thought out.

With no guidance or further contact from anyone at the Cowboys my plan was to sell out, pay off invoices, and be done with Cowboys merchandise. It was a good run.

Then on Sept. 4th, 2018 the Cowboys flooded Amazon with counterfeit complaints against merchandise I bought from them. I was floored. I couldn't believe what was happening. I emailed everyone I knew at Cowboys including my sales rep. No one responded. It is horrible business practices.

Then a week later the Cowboys shipped me $30,000 in jerseys. I was confused and felt trapped.

On Oct 3rd, 2018 Amazon reinstated my Cowboys listings after they reviewed the invoices I provided showing I buy direct.

On Sept. 25th and Oct 5th, 2018 the Cowboys again bombarded Amazon with new counterfeit complaints against me. I again emailed everyone begging for a retraction to no avail.

On Oct 19th, 2018 Amazon suspended my account. I had to retain legal counsel and 25 days later luckily I was reinstated.

I suffered mentally, physically, and financially. Our lives were a wreck. I had a warehouse full of merchandise besides Cowboys. If we were not reinstated by Amazon prior to Christmas my family was facing certain severe financial hardship.

This was an easy 5 minute fix. All Amon needed to do was what the policy said. Close my account. Then either take back the jerseys or let me sell out. Whats the big deal? Now 18 months later I'm still dealing with this in the mist of a national pandemic. I'm caring for my 88 yr old dad and your team refuses to resolve this matter. It's been nothing but delays and a runaround for months and months.

If you can, please research and help me get a resolution. Thank You.

Dallas Cowboys threatening letter August, 2018. This is not a well thought out policy and it asks retailers to snitch on other retailers. Very unprofessional.

PS... i think ethics and decency in the front offices translate to success on the field. The employees that handled this situation were not very sharp. They didn't look long term. If you can please investigate why they targeted me. Was it because I paid my invoices? I heard other sellers were not destroyed like me because they owed the Cowboys way too much money. Look at the accounts receivable. I got a feeling you will be amazed. Your sales team wasted a lot of resources. This was a 5 minute fix. Time to clean house or retrain some people. If not it could jinx next seasons games.

Kittredge & Associates according to their website represent the top brands in the athletic, outdoor and footwear industry. They also represent the Dallas Cowboys.

My sales rep Bill Chase worked for Kittredge & Associates when the Dallas Cowboys tried to destroy my business and family.

I was a Dallas Cowboys wholesale account for over 14 years. Like any retailer/store owner I would buy wholesale and sell retail.

I had a store in 1991, went online in 1998, and sold on Amazon for the last 5 years. During this time the Dallas Cowboys thru their sales agency Kittredge Associates, were only concerned with revenue. As in most industries it was all about selling, booking, buying.

This all started to change in 2017. The NFL, NHL, MLB and other leagues invested in Fanatics.com. New online policies were then developed by the leagues to favor their new partner, Fanatics. These policies were to be enforced by the manufacturers and licensees.

The NFL and MLB knew I was on Amazon since 2016. Most people would agree Amazon is a legitimate sales channel that many consumers enjoy.

The Dallas Cowboys thru their licensing manager Amon Simmons absolutely knew I was selling on Amazon as of Oct. 13, 2017. The Cowboys and Kittredge Associates were happy to continue selling me over $200,000 in merchandise over the next year even though the Cowboys knew I was on Amazon.

In Aug. of 2018, the Dallas Cowboys sent a threatening letter to Amazon sellers of Cowboys merchandise. The letter demanded sellers remove listings from Amazon within 24 hours. It also threatened forced removal that would harm your Amazon account. I thought something was wrong as the Cowboys were shipping me $10,000's in jerseys all summer long.

I arranged a call with Amon Simmons, the licensing manager of the Dallas Cowboys that knew I was on Amazon. He told me no more Amazon. I asked for an exemption and for Amon to plead my case with upper management. He said that wasn't possible and my account was to be closed.

I asked if the Cowboys wanted their merchandise back. He wasn't clear. The conversation ended with me asking for an exemption again or to return merchandise.

Amon could of ended this immediately. A simple, "You are closed, send back the jerseys , we will square up or you can sell out and pay off invoices. That's it, over. So be it. Instead of an easy 5 minute resolution he chose a different path. Amon and the Cowboys chose a path that put my families future in jeopardy.

On Sept 4th, 2018 the Cowboys flooded the Amazon system with false lies that my Cowboys jerseys were counterfeit.

Over the next 3 days I emailed everyone I knew at the Cowboys and my rep Bill Chase from Kittredge that a mistake was made. This will hurt me, I need a retraction. I pleaded. I begged.

I had no response but a few days later I received $30,000 in jerseys from the Dallas Cowboys. I was so confused. This is insanity. What are they doing I said to myself. I thought they wanted to continue doing business.

Then on Oct. 5th, 2018 they flood Amazon again with lies that the jerseys they sold me were counterfeit. I kept emailing begging for a retraction, begging to know why they are destroying my business with lies. Pleading for my families future. I had no response from the Cowboys or Kittredge.

On Oct. 19th, 2018 I got suspended from Amazon for 25 days. This caused extreme hardship and financial uncertainty for my family. I supported the NFL and Dallas Cowboys for 3 decades and the Cowboys for a reason I can't fathom tried to destroy me.

I knew of other sellers still on Amazon, still with Cowboys accounts. Why was I being singled out? Why was I targeted? Why after supporting the Cowboys for 30 years am I being destroyed? Why weren't the lies ever retracted after 18 months? Why after 30 years of operating an honest business I have to live with a false accusation and a cloud over me? I call out to the Cowboys why didn't you ever make this right?

Kittredge & Associates sold me Dallas Cowboys merchandise and profited from my Amazon sales. I thought we had a great working relationship. but where were they when the Dallas Cowboys were destroying my business and life. Why didn't the bosses just pick up a phone and say to the Cowboys, "we stopped selling this guy. retract the counterfeit complaints, leave him alone. I'm sure the bosses at Kittredge had contacts in upper management at the Cowboys. Instead Kittredge did nothing. Absolutely nothing. They stood by as an American small business that supported the NFL for 30 years is destroyed.

Retailers if you must do business with Kittredge please learn from my situation. They stood by and did nothing as my family was being destroyed. Maybe if you get in a dispute with a brand they sold you it happens to you. Proceed with caution.

Consumers-If you do not like this kind of behavior please Boycott brands represented by Kittredge. Dallas Cowboys, Reebok, Oofos, and Chinook.
